Adelyn turned 5 on December 5th. She started her birthday weekend off by being the birthday girl at school- which is a huge deal! She was still not feeling the best (post op day 7 from her surgery) but she wanted to go. She got to bring some special things from home to share with the class and was the snack helper and line leader- that made her day!
On her birthday we had to travel for Eric's annual end of the year meeting and Christmas party. She liked staying in the hotel and swimming in the pool. She is modeling her matching AG PJs she got at our hotel room. I told her to stand up straight so I could see the puppy on her PJs and I guess that also means stick out your tummy! :) On Sunday she had her birthday party with some friends from school. She had a Pink Poodle themed party and everyone had a lot of fun! She thinks she is pretty big stuff now that she is 5. We had planned on getting her ears pierced because that is all she talks about but when it came down to actually doing it she decided she would wait until she was 5 1/2.
